On a corner of Carrer Magalhaes, between Son Armadans and Plaça des Pont and a short walk from the seafront, Boski fills a converted shop with a brunch café: part handmade, part industrial in style, with tableware that gets phones out. The name is Polish — it means "divine" — and the menu nods to it with a Polish breakfast of eggs, cold cuts, cheese and bread, alongside dishes from the other cuisines that have become the shared language of brunch.

The most popular orders are the shakshuka, eggs poached in spiced tomato sauce, also served with halloumi; Turkish eggs, the Israeli breakfast and pancakes with fruit. The sweet brioche toast comes with a pistachio cream made in house, and among the savoury toasts, salmon with avocado and burrata with sun-dried tomatoes stand out; at lunchtime there are bowls and tacos. To drink: specialty coffee (the flat white has a following), a long list of matcha lattes, kombuchas, homemade lemonades and smoothies, and their bottomless brunch with unlimited drinks.

It's calm, with low music, dogs are welcome inside and laptops are fine. Presentation is very polished; some find the portions light for the price. For a long, slightly different breakfast in this part of Palma, it delivers.
