DÔME

It opened in early 2025 at number 2 on Carrer de la Unió and leads two lives in one two-storey space, with a carefully designed interior of light, colour and shapes. By day it’s specialty coffee and brunch: matcha, raspberry lemonade, toasts and focaccias. At night it becomes a bistro of Mediterranean cooking with outside influences and signature cocktails, and at weekends dinner turns into a dinner party with a DJ, sometimes with a magic act on the lower floor. Dinner is where it shines: the beef cheek focaccia, rigatoni with tempura octopus, spicy chicken wings or sea bass, all bold flavours (one or two too garlicky for some), with a Golden Goose on the side. Brunch is where the price-to-portion debate happens: the burrata toast or pastrami focaccia cost around €18 and don’t always fill you up. Come for a lively dinner with music, as a group or a couple, rather than a quiet meal; if you want a calm breakfast, the bright upstairs room is the place.
