La Infame
A small tapas and wine bar on Carrer de la Sala dels Flassaders in the Sindicat
View in the app · free, no sign-upOn Sala dels Flassaders, a short street behind Plaça Major, La Infame does Mediterranean tapas and natural wine in a small, easy-going room with folding metal chairs and tables outside. It opens in the evenings only. The menu is short and changes, but a few fixtures explain the place: the 'patató infame', patatas bravas unlike the usual ones, spicy and with a gentle aioli; the tacos — chicken, beef or mushroom depending on the day; the stuffed aubergine, lifted by sharp pickled onion; and sweet potato with sobrassada. Sometimes there's a frit of lamb or pumpkin and, for dessert, a cardenal de Lloseta (a Mallorcan meringue sponge) with strawberries. A detail not everyone knows: the kitchen is gluten-free, which coeliacs love. The staff help you order according to your taste — sometimes suggesting a three-dish surprise menu — and pick natural wines well. There's no printed drinks list, so the price of your glass only shows up on the bill, and on packed nights the dishes come out with long gaps.
