Mirador de Cabrera

The terrace tables sit right on the cliff edge at Es Pas de Vallgornera, the residential area next to Cala Pi, and the view stretches all the way to the island of Cabrera, which gives the place its name. It's run by German chef Jörg Klausmann: the website and notices are in German, and the very loyal clientele, some of it from far afield, comes back season after season. The philosophy is simple and demanding: everything is made in-house, from starters to desserts and salad dressings; meat and fish arrive fresh every day — prawns are the only frozen exception — and the herbs come from a garden beside the terrace. There's a lunch menu and an evening menu as well as à la carte, and in summer the table everyone wants is the one at sunset over the open sea. Out of season the restaurant lives on fixed dates its regulars know well: the St Martin's goose dinner in November, Christmas and New Year's Eve menus and the schnitzel lunch in early January, plus cookery courses and wine seminars. In 2026 it won the restaurant competition «Mein Lokal, Dein Lokal – Der Profi kommt», and the dining rooms were redecorated in 2023.
