Bar Turismo
The balcony of Sóller: local food and village soul by the iconic tram.
View in the app · free, no sign-upOn Avinguda des Born, a few steps from the square, the Sóller tram passes right in front of Turismo’s terrace, which is why so many people stop here for the photo. What’s interesting is what lies behind it: a small, old-school family bar that, in the middle of the tourist centre, still belongs to the village, with locals and young people from the valley and few foreigners. It’s a bar for drinking, not eating: milky coffee in the morning, ice-cold beers in the afternoon and a choice of wines you wouldn’t expect in a place like this. There’s sometimes a tapa, but it’s not somewhere to have a meal. Prices are village-bar prices, among the lowest in central Sóller, and you can have a drink at the bar without taking a table. It does what a good old bar should: a quick coffee before the train, a beer after a hike or an aperitivo watching the tram go by.
