Camí de s'Escolta
An easy circular walk above the port of Valldemossa, full of history.
View in the app · free, no sign-upA circular path of about 3 km above the Valldemossa coast, used for centuries to watch for pirates, hence the name (escolta means lookout): it’s documented as early as 1552. Archduke Ludwig Salvator restored it, and stone viewpoints with benches were added in the 19th and 20th centuries. There are four, some 400 metres above the sea, looking over Port de Valldemossa, the Sa Foradada rock and the coastal towers. It’s easy, just over an hour, and fine for kids.
