Roseta Valldemossa
Valley views with fine coffee/matcha; a tranquil escape in Valldemossa.
View in the app · free, no sign-upOn Carrer de la Rosa, away from the tour groups heading to the Charterhouse, Roseta opened in October 2024 as an unusual mix for Valldemossa: speciality coffee bar, home-made cakes and art shop. It's tiny, with only a handful of seats, but at the back there's a window looking over the valley and the mountains, and that view alone is worth the stop.
The coffee is taken seriously: espresso and cappuccino with well-textured milk, a coffee of the day whose origin keeps changing, and a matcha latte with almost as many fans as the coffee. The cakes are made in-house and mix the imported with the local: carrot cake and lemon sponge alongside flaó (a Balearic cheese tart) and almond gató. For later in the day there are natural wines from the island and craft beer.
The walls and shelves are part of the business too: original paintings, prints and a small in-house clothing label, all for sale. It's a place for an unhurried coffee and a slice of cake, not for a big breakfast or for turning up as a group.
