Cap de Formentor
Cliffs and a lighthouse at the end of the island’s most dramatic road.
View in the app · free, no sign-upFormentor is Mallorca's "end of the world", the island's northernmost point, where the Tramuntana drops into the sea in cliffs up to 300 metres high. It's one of the island's most famous landscapes. About 15 km of hairpin road lead to the lighthouse, with breathtaking views all the way and viewpoints such as Es Colomer. The catch is access: in high season the lighthouse road is closed to cars from Platja de Formentor, and getting there takes far longer than the visit itself.
