Port de Valldemossa (Sa Marina)
Pebbly fishermen's harbour, 6 km of hairpins below the village
View in the app · free, no sign-upValldemossa's port, which the village calls Sa Marina, is a handful of fishermen's houses and boat sheds at the foot of the Tramuntana, 6 km from the village down a narrow hairpin road that crosses land once owned by Archduke Ludwig Salvator. The cove is pebbles, about 90 metres long, with a boat ramp and water that gets deep quickly. The only restaurant, Es Port, opened in 1969 and serves rice dishes and fish facing the jetty. People drive down in the afternoon: it's one of the few spots on the north coast to watch the sunset almost with your feet in the water.
